James Whiteside

BE EVERYTHING. DO EVERYTHING.

MILK

Dan grew up in Syracuse, NY. Holla, 315! Gross. He has a mommy and a daddy... and two really hot brothers. They like pussy. Sorry, gays. His parents have a cat. Meow.

Dan went to Catholic school and was an altar boy. He was never touched by an angel, thankfully.

He was a competitive figure skater, for like, ever.

Dan joined the Marc Jacobs International family in 2009. He loves clothes, like any teenage girl. Duh. He is now the Merchandising Manager at Marc Jacobs in NYC. MILK can be seen tackling models at every "Marc" runway show.

Dan breast-formed a drag group called "The Dairy Queens" which is cream-based on the East Coast. The members are: MILK, Skim Burley (MILK's Drag Daughter), Ühu, Linda Lakes, & Juggz.

MILK owes much of her success to New York Nightlife Mogul Susanne Bartsch. Susanne discovered MILK & The Dairy Queens at her party at ON TOP: LeBain. She loved these bitches and has been promoting them ever since.

Dan lives in NYC's East Village with his manfriend James Whiteside, who is a Principal Dancer in American Ballet Theatre. He is also JBDUBS (a pop musician). He is also ÜHU (a member of The Dairy Queens). That bitch busy.

Thanks for reading this bio, even though you probably didn't.

Thanks for it.

SKIM BURLEY

Matt grew up in a cow's swollen udders, aka Phoenix, Arizona.

Skim got her start in drag in Boston, MA, where she met her drag family. In addition to Milk, Skim is also the drag daughter of Milk's boyfriend, Ühu Betch (AKA JbDubs). With such charismatic and talented performers as drag parents, it’s no wonder Skim inherited that fierce and fun style.

Skim began drag out of peer pressure (as it was the cool thing to do) and as a clever excuse to cover her eyebrows for a few hours. She’s been fake-tucking ever since! Skim enjoys the art form for its ability to let her have fun while making other people smile at her (not with her). Although she’s only been known as Skim for a few short years, her drag career began well before that. Her original name, Ghostina Teenibikini, taken from the soft core porn “Ghost in a Teeni Bikini,” was in style until she received the word from Milk that dairy was the new black. She’s been known as Skim - "99% brainless, 1% Fat" - ever since!

As with all the sisters of the Dairy Queen sisterhood, Skim always has a theme to her outfits. She specializes in camping up a runway or stage while managing to wear as little clothing as possible! One of Skim’s favorite outfits included pieces of an inside-out umbrella, which she discarded later that night, abiding by a rule of the Dairy Queen sisterhood that they never wear the same outfit twice. Another one of Skim's personal favorites was a dress made from kanekalon hair extensions, which was worn twice before being discarded - once as an outfit, and once as a hairpiece.

With the help of her drag family, and after channeling her own charisma, uniqueness, nerve, and talent, Skim Burley started getting noticed around the Boston drag scene. She performed at a variety of nightclubs including Machine, Estate’s ‘Glamlife’ show, ‘Queer Fridays’ at Guilt, ‘EPIC Saturdays’ at House of Blues, and (her personal favorite) ‘Hot Mess Sundays’ at Underbar. One year after beginning her drag career in Boston, she packed up her wigs and moved her gigs to New York City, where she reunited with Milk and Ühu, and where you can find her out on the scene!

ÜHU BETCH

James is a Principal dancer with American Ballet Theatre in New York City as well as JBDUBS, the pop musician.

When James needs a break from the world of ballet, Ühu says "Yoohoo!". Ms. Betch is a crazier than everyone's favorite "chocolate drink". She's the drag father of Skim Burley (or Skimmy Bumpkins, as Ühu likes to call her) and the boyfriend of MILK.

She's a loose cannon, a lit fuse, a loaded gun... SHE'S ÜHU BETCH!
